Following the performances of the Ski Freestyle Team and Steven Williams on Snowboard Cross, Snowboard Freestyle’s turn was delayed due to the cancellation of Big Air due to bad weather conditions. Finally, in the final day of the World Cup, Pedro Bidegain and Matías Schmitt disputed the Slopestyle test; Federico Chiaradio could not compete for an injury.

With a score of 35.00, obtained in their second pass (in the first registered 5.25), Bidegain reached 38th place in the about 58 participants. Pedro was ten steps away from advancing to semi-finals. Meanwhile, Schmitt finished 54° with 12.00 units.

Coach Santiago Gamen analyzed the national performance in Park City: “After having had very good training during the qualifying practices, the weather began to deteriorate (with wind and low visibility) and the boys had some difficulty in concretizing their past in the race. Matías had a fall in the fourth section of the tour, while Pedro, who achieved a better score, was able to connect the second round with some errors.”
