Surrounded by forests and lakes is Villa La Angostura, this wonderful mountain corner considered the gateway to the Arrayanes National Park.
In the south of the Province of Neuquén on the northwest bank of Lake Nahuel Huapi, there is a mountain village in the heart of the Patagonian mountain range. Villa La Angostura is part of the Corridor of the Lakes along with other towns in the southwest of the Province. It also forms the Route 40 Corridor. It is a privileged natural environment that is protected within the Nahuel Huapi National Park. It provides the ideal space to practice different adventure activities. The route linking Villa La Angostura to San Martín de los Andes is the Route of the Seven Lakes. These are Nahuel Huapi, Correntoso, Espejo, Escondido, Villarino, Falkner and Machónico. 112 km crossing a unique natural landscape in the country.
During the winter the ski center located on the hill Bayo offers visitors more than 20 slopes. In addition, 12 lifts and 200 ha where you can practice all types of skiing and snowboarding. It also has all the necessary services for the skier to have a pleasant day.
