Ushuaia, like the chameleon
Places change with the seasons. The climate, the temperature, the landscapes, the aromas, the customs. In our country there is a city that becomes particularly different at every moment of the year: Ushuaia.
Ushuaia is the southernmost city in the world and also the only Argentine city located on the western side of the Andes. Due to the latitude where it is located, in summer it dawns around 4 a.m. and darkens after 10 p.m.; while in winter it barely reaches seven or eight hours of light. There they can be the “10 of the afternoon” or the “5 of the night”, depending on the moment of the year in which we are.
Visiting Ushuaia in the summer has nothing to do with visiting it during the winter, autumn or spring. Each instance brings different colors and activities, and choosing the time to enjoy it will depend on the plans of each. For lovers of snow sports, the ideal months are July and August. If that’s not on the agenda, it’s best to travel between October and April, when weather conditions allow you to enjoy the outdoors without freezing.
The city of the End of the World has options for all tastes, just be encouraged and allow yourself to absorb the magic that Ushuaia has to offer.
