The province of Tucumán offers many options for the little ones, who at the same time enjoy the purity of the air that gives the Garden of the Republic, enjoy these reserve options and farms designed for them.
It is only 15 kilometers from the provincial capital, in Djerba Buena . The Horco Molle Experimental Reserve provides an unsurpassed space of peace typical of the Yungas Tucumana. It is entered by Avenida Presidente Perón; a few meters before reaching the final roundabout. At that place turn right and continue the path of about 700 meters to the entrance.
The Horco Molle Experimental Reserve was founded in 1986 and has a total area of 200 hectares. The origin of its name is associated with the Horco Molle or palo barroso, a large tree that is more than 20 meters high and 50 centimeters in diameter, a species of high decorative value with an aroma that soaks the landscape. The climate in the area is usually temperate-humid, with dry winters and rainy summers.
In the Reserve you can visit the museum of geology and paleontology that treasures a varied and meritorious collection of materials typical of the North Argentina . In addition, it has a biology museum in which specimens of insects, amphibians and carnivores from the Sierra de San Javier are observed.
But, undoubtedly, animals are the main attraction and represent the typical fauna of the entire Argentine North. The Horco Molle Experimental Reserve offers rides in the company of fangers. These professionals give the visitor an appropriate description of the animals that live there.
The departure is full day since the place has picnic facilities, barbecue, barbecue, toilet and games for children.
Opened in 1994, this reservation is located in San Pedro de Colalao , 94 km from San Miguel de Tucuman. The tourist visiting the Carlos Pellegrini reserve will immerse themselves in a perfect jungle and will witness more than 150 exotic species such as toucans, lions, bengal tigers and flamingos and other native ones such as foxes, eagles, cougaras, yachares and tapirs.

It is located at RN 9 kilometer 1271, El Cevilar, Cruz Alta. It offers guided tours, farm train rides, bread kneading, milking and making goat cheese.
It is located at RP 305 kilometer 9.3, Las Talitas. It offers farm activities, tours in Sulky, horseback riding, hiking, among others. It also has football courts, quinchos, grills and horse riding track. Visiting hours are from Monday to Saturday from 8:30 to 19:00.
At the RP 307 kilometer 68, 6 kilometers from the Villa de Tafí. Here you will find products made by hand and organically. You can share and know the techniques of ancestral cultivation, aromatic herbs, medicinal herbs, compost, farm animals, handicrafts, liqueurs, breads and other natural products. Visiting hours are from 08:00 to 19:00.
