If you finally decided to learn to  ski , before you hit your first track you have to make sure you meet a number of requirements. Remember: skiing is the same for everyone. At least when it comes to the preparation and rules to follow during your ski day. If you follow these tips, you will enjoy this unique and fun activity to the fullest.

Physical preparation to learn to ski

There are different levels and almost everyone can play this sport while they know their own limits. The better  physical form , the better you will face the challenges of this sport. But if the gym is not your thing, you can also ski, even if you have to rest more. Skiing is a demanding sport and the more you practice it, the better physical fitness you will have.

Food: essential on your first day of skiing

One of the most important factors when learning to ski is eating. In this regard, breakfast plays a leading role in your day. Skiing is a very demanding sport in which you consume a lot of calories, up to 400 per hour of exercise. That's why your breakfast needs to contain healthy fats,  proteins  and carbohydrates.

Bring proper equipment and shelter properly

The equipment is also essential to enjoy your day of skiing. You should wear the right skis, adaptable boots and warm clothes designed for skiing. And of course... don't forget about the helmet!

Like any sport, skiing requires a learning process. Nothing better than doing it with a monitor. This will speed up your learning curve so you can dedicate yourself to experimenting on your own in no time.

Start with the tracks for beginners

Just as we recommend that you start with the hand of a monitor, we also recommend that you do not start with the most difficult tracks. It seems logical, but it is important to know the difficulties of each. There are tracks that are designed especially for debutantes.

Do not force yourself to exhaustion: make breaks

It is better to take breaks often and not get to exhaustion. Saturated legs will not respond well and it will cost you more to learn to ski. You will end the tired day, but you do not need to end up completely exhausted.
