The Corredor of the South Coast of Santafesina

From Santa Fe to Oliveros, the South Coast Corridor is an exciting tour of the geography and nature of Santa Fe.

Santa Fe
El Corredor de la Costa Sur santafesina

If you didn't know it before, you already know by SerArgentino that  the main tourist attractions of the province of Santa Fe have to do with the river . Whether Salado,  Paraná  or one of its various subsidiaries, beaches, fishing, water sports and accommodation complexes are the fort that Santa Fe has to offer to tourists. Although this varied offer extends from north to south, the so-called “coastal road” is more associated with localities that go from the center to the north of the Brigadier López lands. That is, Arroyo Laws, Calchines, Cayastá, San Javier, Reconquista, etc. To the south, it is known that there are dreamy places like  Oliveros , but  perhaps not everyone knows that there is a whole circuit.  It's the Southern Corridor.

The South Coast Corridor extends from Santa Fe Capital to Oliveros. It is located parallel to the Paraná River and other minor rivers that water the region . Ideal for tourists looking for direct contact with nature  in its most diverse possibilities. Starting from the capital of Santafesina and following the route of the highway that reaches Rosario,  São Tomé  is the beginning of this route. With a great historical and cultural heritage, its museums are a must for all visitors. Another unmissable place is the  majestic waterfront on the Salado River  and its spas, where you can practice various nautical disciplines.

Just as charming, but caressed by the waters of the Coronda River is the village of  Sauce Viejo.  Internationally known for its airport, it is also a suitable destination for lovers of hunting, fishing for yellows, golds and peats. Everything, in  an atmosphere of extraordinary beauty  that is complete with islets and an overflowing peace.

The southern coasts of Santa Fe

Also on the banks of the Coronda River, is  Desvío Arijón,  another of the proposals that seduce tourists. The sunset hikes, hunting and fishing in a  wild environment , or simply rest taking advantage of their tireless peace.

Continuing south, the city of  Coronda  surprises with its historic buildings. The splendid balcony that is its waterfront on the river of the same name and the  irresistible aroma of the strawberry crops  that surround it. Home of the renowned International Aquatic  Marathon  , it is also a place chosen for summer as it has spas and a campsite with all services. As a coastal town, fishing is one of the most practiced activities.

The town of  Monje  adds its attractions to the coast of the province of Santa Fe.  Its strong point is the Balneario La Boca , located at the confluence of Monje Creek and the Coronda River, which gives reason to its great landscape beauty. A long beach of fine sand, caressed by warm waters, transforms it into a place increasingly chosen by holidayers. Added to this is  the possibility of practicing different disciplines  that allow contact with nature: hiking, horseback riding, fishing and sport hunting, skiing, boat rides.

The road is not over, so we recommend you to visit the city of Maciel,  Puerto Gaboto  exhibits his first Argentine town diplomas. Known as a good coastal fishing boat, its location on the banks of the Coronda River allows the  capture of bogas, chamfer, manduva, surubis and gilded .

The corridor is coming to an end, but before, Oliveros unfolds all its charms: nature everywhere; wild spas; fishing in the captivating river Carcarañá; the possibility to enjoy meeting tourism,  its complete tourist infrastructure make it a place worth visiting .
