Santa Fe la Vieja: where it all started

If you are going to visit the province of  Santa Fe , there is a stop that is essential to do: the  Ruins of Santa Fe la Vieja, where the  first location of that city took place, which are located very close to the town of Santa Fe   Cayastah  .

It is an  Archaeological Park  that is considered one of the most important cultural attractions in all South America, where visitors can discover the original settlement of the city of Santa Fe, as left by  Garay  and the founders.

Lost underground after the abandonment of the old village, the buildings were exhumed in 1949, and more than 70 buildings were found and the primitive layout of the streets and blocks were found. The Archaeological Park also includes a  museum  that goes through history from Hispanic times to the founding of Santa Fe in its current position.
