If you like running, getting wet and getting muddy through the missionary jungle, you can't miss the Yaboty Ultra Marathon in September.
The Yaboty Ultra Marathon is the closest thing to a tribal competition. An international ritual, in which hundreds of people from all over the world come together. No one wants to miss the incredible adventure of running through the missionary jungle. The stage is everything. Get wet full body in streams, slopes, rivers and missionary waterfalls. Feel the mud of the colored earth and the moist air penetrate through all the pores of the skin. Contemplating the exuberance of nature with your heart beating is priceless. Jungle, jungle and more jungle. That's the Yaboty Ultra Marathon.
The competition takes place in the city of El Soberbio, on the banks of the Uruguay River, on missionary lands. The marathon lasts from 3 to 5 September. It is one of the largest events in the world on call. In addition, because it consists of an international trail and ultra trail running in the geography of jungle and hills. In the 2020 edition, Argentina and Brazil are both host countries.
The Yaboty Ultra Marathon offers options for everyone who wants to perspirate in the missionary jungle. There are the classic “nonstop” races with different travel distances. From 11 to 50 kilometers. There are also international steps and, finally, recreational ones. In them, there is a very interesting option for smaller runners , called Kids.
In the last edition, the marathon had a significant number of participants. About 1500 people enjoyed this great party. The biggest winners in the longest race (70 km) were Luis Emilio Trujillo and Alicia Nelly López.
