Cerro Perito Moreno, in the rionegrina town of El Bolsón , begins its first summer season, with interpretive walks and mountain horseback riding.Lifting facilities and gastronomic shelters will also be in operation, and a new Recreation Park in Altura.
This is the first summer that the Cerro facilities open, with the two chairlifts and confectioneries operating, and with two interpretive circuits that reach spectacular viewpoints.
In this way the mountain approaches people, with or without snow. These new activities add more attractive to those who visit El Bolsón this summer. For those who want to reach the place, is in operation, the Mountain Refuge “Albrecht Rudolph “at the height 1000 meters, the only one of its kind of El Bolsón which can be accessed by car. You reach the parking lot of the hill, allowing you to enjoy a magnificent view and mountain dishes.
Also open will be the confectioneries located in the 1350m and 1640m (on the Plateau), with terraces to access drinks and meals in the middle of the mountain.
El Cerro is 25 kilometers northwest of El Bolsón and an hour and a half from Bariloche International Airport by RN 40.
The mountain includes a huge variety of tourist attractions at different times of the year. In winter you can also enjoy activities such as downhill skiing, Nordic skiing, snowboarding and mountain trekking, snow games, sleigh rides and even snow walks with racket.
With regard to care by the Covid 19, the consignee said that the same methodology and protocols they had during the winter will be carried out: mandatory barbijo, hand cleaning and hygiene of the facilities throughout the day. The summer season will run until February 28, opening from Thursday to Sunday the first week, to continue with a schedule of Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.
