A challenge for travelers looking for a different experience.
| 21 December, 2018 |

There are experiences that require some effort, but they are worth living. They are experiences that cross us, change us and stay with us forever. It is that difficult and transcendental to know La Ciudacita, in Tucumán, a path that is part of the Inca Trail, as it constitutes a fragment of the ancient Andean road system.

La Ciudacita is located in the snowy mountains of Aconquija, at 4400 meters above sea level. To get there, it takes three days on horseback or about five on foot, in an ascent that crosses different biomes and landscapes. The site was declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco.

The challenge is great and the effort to achieve it is a lot, but the reward is wonderful: the possibility of knowing these extraordinary Inca ruins, built with gray slab stone, which remain intact due to their difficult access. A different way of knowing this hidden gem in the province of Tucumán.
