Nogolí: a town with plenty to offer
The province of San Luis has many special corners to discover. Today we want to talk about Nogolí, a town in the Department of Belgrano. With its olive, river, hills and dike route, it will allow you to fill your eyes beauty and soul with serenity.
Nogolí is located 49 km north of the city of San Luis, on the banks of the river of the same name, which originates in the Sierras de San Luis. In its water mirror and mountains, it is possible to perform recreational activities of different kinds. We tell you some of the safety pins.
Olive Route. It offers visits to productive and recreational establishments at the foot of the mountains to learn about the process of artisan olive oil production.
Route of the Central Massif. It is a road that reaches the top of the Sierras de San Luis, at 2088 masl. It offers unique views, and an unforgettable journey, which crosses hills, ravines, valleys and small high plateaus.
Nogolí Dam. With an area of 180 hectares, it is one of the most beautiful in the whole province . The use of its waters is for drinking water supply, irrigation and livestock, and is supplied by the Los Molles and Chico rivers. Surrounded by the natural setting offered by the hills and the varied surrounding vegetation, with several islands that make it unique in our province, the Nogolí Dam was inaugurated in 2003.
