In Misiones “tourism is a right”

“Tourism is a right” is a proposal that leads young and adult missionaries to explore the attractions of the red land.

El turismo es un derecho

It may sound strange, but all people have the right to tourism. In Misiones this maxim has become a policy of the  provincial State . However, it's not just an occurrence of Missions. Various international organizations argue that tourism is another universal right. Individuals, regardless of gender, race or religion, have the right to rest and have a leisure space.

In the province of Misiones, the programme “Tourism is a right” is targeted especially at vulnerable sectors . A group of people who generally do not have the material conditions to discover other places. Through this proposal, you are given access to some kind of tourist activity. But the programme “Tourism is a right” also plays another important role.  It allows to direct tourism demand by increasing the level of activity of the sector .

Travel is a right, which usually happens to us...

The red land has first-rate natural and cultural  destinations  . The young and adult beneficiaries of the programme have access to a 5-star tourism. The walks within the province are varied and there is for every taste. Falls, jumps, tech parks, Jesuit reductions, jungle and much more.

However,  most of the itineraries that take place include major missionary attractions. The majestic Saltos del Moconá, Cataratas, the city of Puerto Iguazú and Posadas . The activities are carried out with young people from various municipalities such as Oberá, Apóstoles,  Posadas  and even Guaraní communities.

 Cultural tourism

In the provincial capital there is an institution dedicated 100% to missionary culture. It is  the Knowledge Park , a space that brings together the greatest exponents of art and entertainment in the province. Hundreds of people arrive from every corner of the  red earth  to meet him.  The walk is one of the most sought after by young people . It begins with the Public Library of the Missions, and continues through the Lyric Theatre of the Knowledge Park. There you can observe an essay of the Ballet and the Choir. They also visit the workshops of Artes del Fuego, and finally the most modern facilities of the place. The IMAX Knowledge, in which you can observe a free 3D projection, and the Observatory of Missions. Not bad, this right to be a tourist in your own province. Not bad.
