The Teyú Cuaré Provincial Park, in Misiones, promises a different experience.
The province of Misiones has a lot to offer beyond the Falls: if you want to take a different journey, but equally intense, we suggest you get to know the Teyú Cuaré Provincial Park (“cave of the lizard”, in Guaraní) and get into the magical missionary jungle.
Teyú Cuaré has an area of 78 ha and is located about 60 km from the city of Posadas. In addition to the jungle, one of its greatest attractions is the rock of the same name, a rocky outcrop with natural caverns where different species of bats are sheltered. This is the only area in our country that enters a wide ecoregion called Cerrado, typical of central Brazil.
There is no shortage of reasons to deviate from the mass of tourism and give yourself the pleasure of getting to know this wonderful place.
