Tupungato: a must-see in Mendoza

Tupungato is located on the pedemonte of the Andes Mountain Range. It is a huge valley with slopes from West to East and is part of the Uco Valley.

Tupungato is 70 kilometers from Mendoza City and 30 kilometers from Tunuyán. Due to its geography, this area is characterized by few rains. Temperatures are warm in the valleys, harsh winters, pleasant springs, warm summers in the day and cool in the evening and wonderful autumns. In addition to its natural wealth, Tupungato also provides the visitor with a huge number of services. Wine tourism, gastronomy, rural and mountain tourism. You can visit the Christ the King of the Valley (San Jose), the Church Our Lady of Socorro (Center), the Historical Chapel Sacred Heart (San José), the Monastery of Christ Orante (Gualtallary), the Church Our Lady of the Rosary (Anchoris), the Black Cross (Zapata), the Chapel Our Lady of Perpetual Help (Santa Clara), and the Chapel San Vicente (La Arboleda).

In addition, in Tupungato there is the pole of the highest flag in the country. It measures 31 meters. It was inaugurated on 20 June 2010 to commemorate the 190 years of the death of Manuel Belgrano.
