The province of Mendoza is the only Argentine destination included in the ranking of the magazine Forbes among the 10 recommended places to visit in times of pandemic, due to the health security it offers along with its tourist attractions, among such as mountaineering, outdoor activities and wine tourism.

In addition to wine tourism, the province offers mountain activities, skiing, trekking, kayaking, horseback riding and cycling, which complete the offer of this destination framed by the beauty of abundant vineyards, concluded Forbes.
In the first half of January, the province had total occupation in high mountain destinations, such as Cacheuta, Tunuyán, Potrerillos, Uco Valley, Alvear, Uspallata and Atuel Canyon.
In this regard, the Chamber of Commerce and Tourism of Route 82 stressed that “expectations are high taking into account the confirmed reservations until January 31.”
Among other tools, launched in the context of the pandemic the province published a new website of the System of Natural Protected Areas, with very complete information and documentation of each of them, including the necessary protocols for access and visits, for the care of tourists.
The same magazine positioned the province in 2019 as a tourist destination for the 2020 season, according to its selection committee, which includes Forbes Life Latam's editorial team and specialists from the global tourism industry, such as Virtuoso, Booking, Toucan Insights, and The Leading Hotels of the World among others. others.
