The caiquen or Magellanic Bustard, is a Patagonian goose that inhabits both Chile and Argentina. Like the caiquen, Aurelio Montes gave life to Bodega Kaiken in 2001. This Chilean winemaker has brought not only his experience, but his tireless enthusiasm in search of the quality of a wine that is only tasted in this wine establishment.
With the beautiful flight of the caiquen from the brand invite the visitor to “spread the wings”, to allow himself to be transported and delight freely. In Kaiken Wines the tourist embarks on a journey where the sensuality of aromas and flavours leads him to explore the true Argentine landscape.
Walking through the Kaiken winery you will get to know the tradition of Argentine winemaking from its true roots. You will also have the possibility to discover the different systems of driving vineyards, and the magic of biodynamic agriculture. An organic production method based on the theories of Rudolf Steiner, founder of anthroposophy. The end of the tour is a glass of Cabernet Franc or Malbec in the gardens of the winery, with a great view of the Andes Mountains.
Discover the exclusive Argentine wines produced by the vineyards of Bodega Vistalba, for many years, in the beautiful lands of Mendoza. The establishment was founded in 2003 by Carlos Pulenta, the third generation of a traditional winery family. He built the winery on a family estate in Luján de Cuyo, turning all his style and passion for making wines into a family project.
The long history of the Pulenta family, its vineyards and new wine-growing techniques were associated in the goal of obtaining elegant wines, at the height of the great wines of the world. The first drinks were marketed in 2005. Currently, the brand is present in more than 20 countries.
The finca Vistalba is 980 m above sea level. Soil type is a heterogeneity between alluvial sediments and clay which, in addition to the type of climate, constitutes a perfect alloy for the final product that is achieved, whatever it is.
In the winery you get Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Bonarda and Cabernet Franc. Along with these vines there are 1200 80-year-old olive trees of the Arauco, Nevadillo, Arbequina, Manzanilla and Empeltre varieties whose fruits are made the own olive oil “CORTE V”.
With more than 130 years of history, Nieto Senetiner is dedicated to the production of quality wines: Don Nicanor, Nieto Senetiner, Emilia, Fran and Benjamin. In the winery they inform the visitor that making wines is much more than filling a glass. It's a way of imagining the world, life and work. Technique, art, passion and an unparalleled natural environment give a substrate that guarantees unique results.
Although we can say that it all started in 1888 in Lujan de Cuyo, when immigrants from Italy decided to plant the first vineyards and give birth to a new winery. It is, in 1969, when the Nieto and Senetiner families bought the current estate by writing a new chapter in their history. They invested to make the existing facilities bigger and, in that way, they gave it the prestige that the brand has today.
In an experience that invites you to experience the full cycle of winemaking, the tour of the estate begins in the vineyards, walking through the plantations of Malbec. Then, in the winery, the experts of Nieto Senetiner uncover the secrets of the fine production and storage process of the wine, and as a finishing touch, they will invite you to a high-end tasting with wines of the Don Nicanor line.
