On sunny days or rainy days. Even snow. Below, we present you 3 tours of different lengths to do during your visit to Mendoza by car . If you come alone, as a couple, as a family or with friends, the options apply to all cases.
A tour that, in total, is completed in 5 or 6 hours. It's about 350 kilometers. The road takes us on all surfaces. Pavement, earth and stones. Mountain air, native fauna and vegetation. It is proposed to leave the city in the morning, bound for Villavicencio. When we reach the first destination we can stop, get off and walk for a while . Discover the abandoned hotel and contemplate the landscape. Then the land period begins. With curves and slopes, but with a unique landscape. From the vehicle we can contemplate everything, without having to get off. Although stopping for a photo is not bad at all. Then we arrived Uspallata. Here we can buy food, refuel and meet our needs. Finally, the return home on Route 7.
Same duration and mileage travel. Landscape similar and as captivating as the previous proposal. It is recommended to leave early in the morning for the town of Las Vegas, in Potrerillos. Technical stop . There's a supply company. Then begins the dirt road, but suitable for the car, towards Tupungato. It is known as the path of “The race” or “springs”. It is a path with few curves . Just a handful of snails. The rest are huge straights between the mountain meadows. You arrive at your destination. From there, the wine paths to El Manzano Histórico. There is a wide offer to buy food or eat there . Finally, get off to the town of Vista Flores and exit to Route 40 to return to Mendoza.
We leave by car from Mendoza, as a common point, towards Tupungato, on Route 40, taking the detour for “Los Cerrillos”, landscape majestic. In almost an hour we'll be at our destination. Once there, the cute begins. From Tupungato to El Manzano, as explained above, we travel“ The Wine Roads”. It is that the route advances between vineyards and vineyards of the main wineries of our province. The architecture of these stands out and adorns the already beautiful nature. Safety pin .
