How to get to Corrientes Capital?

Embraced by the Paraná River, Corrientes Capital offers  the beauty  of the coastal landscape combined with its unique colonial style. The capital of Correntina is a historical,  cultural and religious gem, worth visiting. We tell you the best way to get to it.

The city has many entrance gates. The busiest is the General Belgrano bridge that links it with the river share, is Resistencia in the province of  Chaco . There also access those who arrive from  Salta ,  Jujuy and  Formosa .

By car, the options are varied and extremely accessible.  Departing by car  from  Buenos Aires , the journey takes about 12 hours. RN 9 is taken and then RN 11. For it, most of the stretch is performed. Finally, you have to take the RN 16, and you're done. You're already in the capital of Correntina!

 From the inside , there are also multiple ways to enter the city. From the Provinces of Misiones and Entre Ríos it is accessed by RN 12 and later the 14. If you want to visit this beautiful city from  Cordoba  , the initial access is by National Route 19, then the 11 and at the end, the RN 16.


For those who decide to travel to  Corrientes Capital  by bus, there are multiple companies that make daily tours. The types of services are very wide and varied. From semi-double cars to full bed. El Pulqui, Fast Tata, Cruise del Norte, Tigre Iguazú and Flecha Bus, are just some of them. At the end of the trip, you get up to the Corrientes Bus  Terminal  , located 5 kilometers from the Center. By car or collective it takes less than 15 minutes to reach the city centre.


The capital of Correntina has the possibility to visit it by plane. You can descend to this beautiful city by   Doctor Fernando Piragine Niveyro International Airport  . The Aeroparque, located 10 kilometers east of the city center, usually travel only domestic flights. Once there, to get to the central area it is possible to take a bus line. However, if you are one of those who seek greater comfort, there is the possibility of renting cars at affordable prices.
