There are so many options that it is difficult to define where to start. We tell you what are the best valleys to visit in Cordoba in summer and why it is, since the end of the nineteenth century, the first tourist destination in the interior of the country.

Located in the heart of Argentina and owns an unparalleled geography and climate, the province of Córdoba is an ideal destination for tourists from all over the country, with good access by land and air and a variety of options and prices very wide, able to satisfy all tastes and budgets.

We put together a list of the recommended valleys of Cordoba for a getaway or for longer holidays. The regions, most tourist destinations and more. What to know, what to do and what to enjoy the hot months

 Punilla Valley

The Punilla Valley is an ideal place to enjoy an unforgettable holiday. It is located to the west of the capital and is watered by wonderful villages and villas that will surprise you.

Villa Carlos Paz  is located practically at the main entrance of the Valley, about 40 km from the Capital  by motorway .

 Calamuchita Valley

Valle de Calamuchita is in the center of the province, 80 km southwest of the Capital. With the Sierras Chicas, the Sierras de Comechingones and Cerro Champaquí as natural frames of the region, it is a dream place, with cities and villages ideal for vacationing.

Since the distances between the different points in the valley are short, it is good to “base” in one place and from there, know everything that the area offers.

 Traslasierra Valley

The famous Camino de las Altas Cumbres links the  capital  with the majestic  Traslasierra  Valley, located west of the Sierras Grandes and east of the Western Sierras. With almost 100 km completely paved, it allows access to about twenty tourist towns, among which important cities, communes and places stand out. The cities of Villa Dolores and Mina Clavero are the most outstanding urban centers and follow the towns of Nono, Villa Cura Brochero, Las Rabonas, Los Hornillos, Villa de las Rosas, Las Tapias, San Javier, Yacanto, Luyaba and La Paz.
