The 38th edition of the most important cultural event of Holy Week in Cordoba will take place from 26 March to 4 April and will have all the necessary protocols to receive the general public. The call for artisans and exhibitors from the urban and commercial sector who want to participate is now open.
The traditional fair that until the last edition was held at the Córdoba Fair Complex had to change the venue because this establishment currently functions as a health center and vaccination center of Covid-19.
On this occasion, the meeting will take place from March 26 to April 4, 2021, achieved the endorsement of the provincial and municipal government of Córdoba for its realization, with all the necessary prevention measures so that visitors can enjoy the tourist, commercial and cultural promenade more important in the interior of the country.
“The International Handicrafts Fair is the most important event of Holy Week in Cordoba and the public deserves to be able to enjoy it again with the same safety and freedom with which they travel shopping, theaters and cinemas, among other spaces,” said Ernesto Halac, director of Modus, organizer of the Fair.
In total there will be around seven hundred stands, within which there will be more than 250 artisans from all the provinces of the country, more than two hundred exhibitors in urban space and more than two hundred in the commercial sector, which will make up a unique and unmissable route for all tastes and ages.
“Our exhibiting artisans are eager to re-present their new and high-quality productions to visitors to the fair and we are happy to be able to give them this opportunity,” said Halac.
In this context, the manager stressed that “the call is now open for artisans as well as for exhibitors from the urban and commercial space who wish to participate in the event”.
As always, on this tour, the public will be able to acquire valuable, authentic objects with the artistic imprint of the best artisans in the Argentine territory, each handicrafts being an individual or group interpretation of the cultural heritage of those who produce them. There will be work done with all the techniques used to this circuit, such as saddlery, basketry, ceramics, vitrofusion, metal, papier-mache, stone, leather, fabric, weaving, rope, crochet, skins, filigree, wrought iron, pole and bone, batik, enamel and mosaic, among others.
For its part, the urban sector will bring together innovative and innovative products in terms of design and originality, such as clothing, decorative objects, accessories, curiosities and furniture, among others; while the traditional commercial sector will tempt those present with regional gastronomic opportunities, trends, clothing and toys, among others.
The property will be open to the public from 15 to 22 hours, with the exception of Good Friday whose hours will run from 1 pm to 10 pm. The general ticket value will be $200 and students and retirees will have a special price of $150 (Monday 28, Tuesday 29, Wednesday 30). Children under the age of 8 do not pay.
Tickets to the fair as well as a vast majority of handicrafts and products can be paid by credit and debit card.
