The municipality of Jesus Maria has worked hard last half of last year to give tourists the best options to rest, enjoy and, above all, feel safe. These are the proposals to enjoy the summer in the city.
On Saturdays and Sundays, the Cleto Peña and Tucumán street sector (between Cleto Peña and Delfín Díaz), become, from 19:00, a Gastronomic Zone . On this pedestrian corridor, you can enjoy the most diverse flavours that offer bars and remains, live music, and entrepreneurs' walk.
This proposal is made on Sunday, from 8; 00, in the Parque del Oeste Nature Reserve. It will be the opportunity to discover the beauty of each of the species that inhabit the jesusmarian natural environment. The tour is guided by the local nature photographer, Ezequiel Vivas, along the Parque del Oeste. Those interested have to register beforehand. Quotas are limited.
Folklore copes the doors of José Hernández Amphitheatre on Saturdays and Sundays, from 19:30 to 20:30. Open air classes are offered there for those who want to learn to dance traditional dances.
On Sundays, from 19: to 22:00, artisans and entrepreneurs will be around San Martín square, showing their different creations.
Given the impossibility of performing the Dressage and Folklore Festival, the rider field opens its doors so that children from 4 to 11 years can enjoy a unique experience in the giant Jesus Mary: horseback riding. The opening hours are: Saturdays from 18:30 to 20:30 /Sundays and holidays from 9:00 to 12:00 and from 18:30 to 20:30.
The work “Nuestra mirada de la ciudad” is already inaugurated in the Museum of the City Luis Biondi. It brings together works by the artists Belén Ochoa, Paola Fantini and César Rizzi, which show differently some corners and sites of Jesus Maria. The exhibition will remain until February 28.
The Municipality of Jesus Maria reinforces the importance of complying with all preventive measures and care, given the increase in cases throughout the province.
Tourists and visitors are advised to:
Travel with family groups and limit social encounters the previous two weeks to minimize the risk of transmission of Covid-18.
It is suggested to be tested before and after starting a trip, either inside or outside the province.
Not travelling to any destination has any symptoms.
In each place, respect the use of barbijo, social distancing and hand washing.
