5 safety pins from northwest Cordovan

We tell you the must-see of northwest Cordovan, which offers us unique places and unforgettable landscapes. Are you going to miss them?

Northwest Cordovan hides unique surprises. It is one of the destinations we cannot forget. Despite its little fame, the diversity that houses the Pocho department is incredible. From tunnels to inactive volcanoes, from mountains to palmares. Native forests, extensions of unique nature. Thousands of animal species are housed in this apartment. That's how varied is the land of Pocho. That's why we tell you 5 places to visit , which you can't miss.

 1. Tunnels of Taninga

This is a road work that was built approximately in 1930. There are five tunnels that enable the connection between Cordoba and La Rioja . On the way to these tunnels you can observe different gifts of nature. Beautiful waterfalls and ravines, among other attractions.

 2. Volcanoes of Pocho

Geological training dating from 4 to 7 million years old. Five online volcanoes, which is now inactive, give us a unique landscape.

 3. Pictographs of the Charquita de San Carlos Mina

Pictographs are found in the town of San Carlos Mina, northwestern Cordovan. Small treasures engraved in stone. These are manifestations of the original cultures that return us to our origins.

 4. Quebrada de la Mermela de Salsacate

The Mermela River is the Joyita de Pocho. If you visit the Tunnels of Taninga, you will be able to see the Waterfall of the Veil de la Bride, the show that gives us this river of Pocho.

 5. Chancani Nature Reserve

Northwest Cordovan is sheltered by institutions that preserve and care for the Pachamama. Created in 1977, this Reserve is on the way to Chepes (La Rioja). And its task from that moment is to preserve native species of fauna and flora. Along its extension it houses molles, white quebrachos, carob trees and shins. In addition, northwest Cordovan and each of its localities offer unique architectural works. Like the Chapel of Our Lady of the Rosary or the Chapel of Las Palmas. Of all these wonders that Pocho have to offer us, which would you choose as a destination?
