Don Julio, the best in Latin America

This was determined by the renowned Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants ranking in its 2020 edition.

In total, 10 gastronomic venues in our country were part of the prestigious list. This is another breakthrough for one of the fundamental pieces of the national tourism offer.

Undoubtedly, gastronomy is one of the great charters not only of Argentine tourism, but also of the daily life of all those who inhabit our country.Recognized worldwide for the quality of its meats and the excellence of its wines, Argentinian cuisine is positioned as one of the most important in America Latina and the rest of the world.

And in tune with this prestige gained over the years, another good news reaffirms the aforementioned: the renowned  Latin America's 50 Best Restaurants  ranking ranked the Argentinian restaurant Don Julio, famous grill located in the heart of  Palermo , one of the most charming neighborhoods in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.

But that's not all. In addition to  Don Julio , nine other Buenos Aires restaurants were part of the renowned list. They are: Mishiguene (Place 8), Tegui (Place 16), Chila (Place 19), Great Dabbang (Place 34), Osaka (Place 38), El Baqueano (Place 39), Narda Dining Room (Place 40), Aramburu (Place 43) and Palermo Preferred (Place 47).

 Don Julio 

The organization describes this classic Argentinian grill that is located in a building from the end of the nineteenth century as  “the scene of this immersion in Argentine culture. At Don Julio, the grill takes prominence and everything combines perfectly so that diners discover the cuisine that represents Argentina in a single meal .”

And with regard to the meat served, he emphasizes that it comes from the Aberdeen Angus and Hereford breed,  “bred freely in the Argentine countryside until it reaches its optimal tenderness and taste” . Recommend to start with the sausages that are prepared there together with the churas. However, he ensures that the exclusive chorizo steak accompanied by fries and roasted vegetables is a star dish. As on table they say that the diner should not miss “homemade ice cream and cheeses with regional sweets”.
