Buenos Aires: returning to the neighborhoods

Outside the traditional tourist circuits, more and more tourists are returning to other neighborhoods, such as Colegiales, Chacarita and Villa Crespo.

Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires

Buenos Aires is a  diverse city , with many experiences to offer. More and more foreigners come from different parts of the world to visit it and are encouraged to go beyond the classic sites.  Retiro,  San Telmo ,  Recoleta , Palermo, Puerto Madero, San Nicolas and   Monserrat are still the busiest neighborhoods, but today tourism look for something different.  Colegiales,  Chacarita  and Villa Crespo  are the main choices for those who want to know alternative places.

In this way, the classic circuit expands and other neighborhoods enter the radar. The motive? Tourists today turn to  more indigenous urban experiences , less commercial, to feel what it is like to live like a local. This interest comes hand in hand with the development of these neighborhoods, which today offer  cultural,  gastronomic  and commercial offerings ,   such as bars, bookstores and restaurants. In addition, in recent years there has been a revaluation of historical, traditional,  old .

Buenos Aires changed, but the tourist's profile also: it no longer conforms with the photo in the  Obelisk  and  Caminito  . They want  to see how local people live , what their customs are. Know the history, the essence of the city.

Colegiales, Chacarita and Villa Crespo

Colegiales, Chacarita and Villa Crespo, then, have grown in the last time. They're getting more and more beautiful, and they're attracting more and more people. In  Colegiales , for example, The  Flea Market is a must-see, even for those who do not plan to buy anything.  Chacarita  is a new gastronomic pole, where the new proposals add to the traditional ones, just like Villa Crespo  , which, pegadito to Palermo, offers a quieter environment and where you still breathe the the neighborhood.

We'll have to get out of the classic, then, and imitate tourists and take a little around these neighborhoods.
