Tapalqué rises in the center of the province of Buenos Aires, where peace, clean air and human heat come together on the banks of the same name stream, between baths, reeds and green plains. The current construction dates from 1947, but the original is from 1869.It was the first building on the current Tapalqué site. In those early moments, the Church was used as a place of refuge for the population who came there when malons approached, women and children left inside it and men, on horseback defending the surroundings.

The temple is on a single floor with two side corridors. Upon entering, the altarpiece of the presbytery made of carrara marble and onyx impresses. The structure presents three niches, the main one in the center of attic with the image of the Archangel. In the second body, as custodians is the image of Mary in the representation of the Assumption and on the other side Saint Joseph and the Child

 Pulperia “San Gervasio” 

On February 13, 1855, a malon composed of five thousand men from the chiefs Calfucurá, Cachul and Juan Catriel razed the forts of Azul and Tapalqué, leaving 15,000 heads of cattle. After that, the San Gervasio  pulperia  , founded in 1850, served as the basis for remaking the village. One of the walls holds a photograph of the 1879 pulpery, there are the former owners Isabel Casares de Vázquez and Ceferino Vázquez.

Today it is part of the historical heritage of the area. Located in Campodónico, in the RP 50 and on the border between the Azul and Tapalqué zones, where you can taste cheese and cold cuts and get to know the regional crafts.

 Malecón del Arroyo Tapalqué 

It is a space of more than ten kilometers long, with large trees, where only the sound of water and the song of birds can be heard. An ideal landscape for relaxing and exercising in outdoor activities such as fishing, cycling, swimming, hiking, kayaking and running.

 La Margarita Stay 

La Margarita is a rural retreat located in an emerald area of great beauty, in the heart of the countryside, very close to Tapalqué. The stay stimulates rest and to link with nature. The property offers horseback riding on docile horses. For bird lovers there are excellent places to watch. Bike rides can also be done on the trails surrounding the stay. The place has eight rooms in different modalities all with names of flowers from the province.
