Things to Do in Necochea

The adventure of traveling involves connecting with the magic of places, their nature and their people. Today we're approaching you to Necochea.

Buenos Aires
rio quequen

Necochea is a seaside town with thick sands, with rock formations, small dunes and an extension of 7 kilometers from the North School of Puerto Quequén to the Costa Bonita Spa. A destination with a varied tourist offer. There you can live delightful and unforgettable experiences that you have to schedule for your next summer vacation.

 A White Medano

With almost 100 meters above sea level and in the middle of a heavenly landscape, it is clearly a natural viewpoint par excellence. The place offers a great sandboard track and, for fans of 4x4 adventure, a unique experience. Locals and tourists consider Medano Blanco to be an energy center, and even local legends describe the third type encounter in the area.

 Quequen River

Its name comes from a word araucana, kem-kem, whose meaning is  “high ravines”.  With a undercut bed of natural jumps and waterfalls framed by abundant vegetation on its margins, it is an unparalleled attraction. Along its coast you can enjoy walks, camping spots, viewpoints and different clubs for nautical activities such as boating, rafting, water skiing and swimming.

 Beaches between caves

It is a place for those looking for tranquility. Located 11 kilometers southwest of the center of Necochea. Giant rocks emerge from the sand forming small cliffs. The power of the sea radiates in the erosion of rocks creating the caves that give name to the place. On the spot there are nestings of parrots, which lived there at the end of the XIX century. This species migrated due to crop changes in the area. Today they are inhabited by European swallows that reach these beaches. The grottos are an ideal place to enjoy the beach, fishing, surfing, kitesurfing and walks on 4 × 4.

Thermal baths of Campo Médano Blanco

The Termas del Campo Médano Blanco complex, located about 45 kilometers from the city of Necochea, is the ideal place to get away from worries. Its attractions include thermal baths, spa circuit, mud therapy, whirlpool and an exquisite gastronomic menu throughout the year.
