Throughout the month there will be a 50% off for tourists in the Green Fee of the major clubs. In addition, from 16 to 18 will be held the 2nd Agosto Mar del PlataCup for residents and tourists. It will be an ideal month to visit the city and play in the Mar del Plata Golf Club, Sierra de los Padres Golf Club and Club Mar del Plata Golf los Acantilados.
During the month of August, the Mar del Plata Golf Club -new course-, Sierra de los Padres Golf Club and Club Mar del Plata Golf los Acantilados , offer to all those who wish to play a 50% discount on the green fee. With this option the golfer will be able to play every day on a course of different characteristics, which makes the challenge extremely attractive for the most demanding amateur.
In addition, the three clubs have organized together with the Municipal Tourism Board the Agosto Mar del Plata Cup, which will be held from 16 to 18 on a different court every day Mar del Plata Golf Club, Acantilados and Saw of the Fathers.

The participating courts
Located in the residential neighborhood Los Acantilados, we find this course of 90 hectares, with 27 holes, of park type, with wide fairways, excellent afforestation of pines, cypresses and cedars and the difficulty of a lagoon at the bottom of the court that borders with four holes. It has an important villa where the club house is located with all the amenities for the golfer: large changing rooms, a driving range with twelve gateras, guard service, a bar and restaurant overlooking the court.
Sierra de los Padres
is a beautiful course of 40 hectares with 18 holes on a course of 6,395 yards for gentlemen and 5,754 yards for ladies, par 72 and 74 respectively. The court is a special challenge for the player as having been built in the foothills of the Sierra de los Padres, its fairways are narrow bordered by lush afforestation and at almost all times the player will be standing on an inclined plane. Its greens are wide and in several holes come into play the “streets” with their off-limits.
A few kilometers from Cancha Vieja (Playa Grande) is the so-called “Cancha Nueva”, park type and very wooded built on a plot of 50 hectares, 18 holes and a course of 6,257 yards for knights and 5. 678 yards for ladies of par 71 and 73 respectively. It was inaugurated in the summer of 1956 and its design was entrusted to the architect Ricardo W. Mackinlay.
