Trekking or hiking is a non-competitive sport activity increasingly practiced in all parts of the world. To do this, use the traditional system of communication routes, such as royal canyons, roads neighborhood and trails. Trekking is part of ecological tourism because, if develops conscientiously, does not generate any kind of footprint on the medium environment. For all these reasons, hiking is a symbiosis between sport, culture and the environment.

In some cases the trekking takes place on trails and routes already established and signposted. In others, on the other hand, walks are carried out freely. That is why it is important to take steps to minimize the risks of accidents and to avoid getting lost. In this sense, the city of Bariloche has developed a very interesting online trekking platform.
