4 amazing destinations for trekking

In Argentina there are many options for trekking and getting into nature. We leave you 4 destinations that you can not miss.

One of the best ways to get to know a place is to  trekking : dive into trails that take us to the depths of nature, to its purest state.  Argentina  is full of places to  visit , all beautiful and all different. So adjust your shoes, fasten your backpack and don't forget to bring additional memory for your camera or cell phone: here is our list of 4 of the best trekking routes in our country.

 1. Cerro Uritorco (Capilla del Monte, Cordoba)

Famous for its mysterious stories related to  the presence of  UFOs  , energy fields and hidden cities, it is one of the classics of the province of  Córdoba . Whatever your motivation to ascend, it's a tour that is really worth doing. At almost  2000 masl , it has a medium difficulty and is an option for the whole family, with children over 7 years. Adults over 60, meanwhile, can reach the top only in the company of a qualified provincial guide; if they go alone, they can reach the Valley of the Spirits (on the fifth break) only.

 2. Quebrada de los Condores (La Rioja)

180 km from the capital of La Rioja, is one of the ideal  destinations  for  sighting condors . The excursion can be started from Olta, Chepes or Chamical. The end is unmissable: from the top you can see the  condors  that fly in circles, rise and fall in a choreography that seems armed for the traveler. The difficulty is medium and the tour takes between 4 and 6 hours.

 3. Fitz Roy (El Chalten, Santa Cruz)

El Chaltén  is the National Capital of Trekking  , and that name is not accidental. In the area, located within the Los Glaciares National Park, there are  multiple trails  of different difficulties. Some take only about 3 hours; others provide the possibility to camp in the spaces reserved for that purpose. The  circuit of Mount  Fitz Roy   is its main star, with incredible views and the possibility of reaching dreamed places.

 4. Aconcagua (Mendoza)

Within the   Aconcagua Provincial Park Natural Reserve   there are different possibilities for trekking. In case you didn't know, it's the  highest mountain in America , at 6962 meters above sea level. There it is possible to make long trekkings, which last several days, and others shorter, which can be done during a day. The shortest alternative is the Laguna de Horcones Circuit, a path of about 2 km ideal for family.
