Arabic style pies

What can lift a bad day? I pick it up with these pies that are my Arabic version of the

  • 500 grams of special minced meat
  • 20 caps puffpies
  • 1 red chili pepper
  • 2 medium onions
  • 100 grams black olives Juice of
  • 2 lemons
  • Salt, pepper, ground chili pepper to taste
  • Pinch of paprika and cumin
  • 1 tomato (optional)
  • 20 ml of olive oil


Sauté the onions, chili pepper and tomato in oil for five minutes over medium heat. Add the meat, season, put the juice of lemon, and olives and stir thoroughly mixing over medium heat for three to four more minutes (leave the semi-raw meat because it is finished cooking in the oven). Allow to cool and try. Add lemon if necessary. Fill the lids into open triangles above. Bake at 200 degrees Celsius for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Serve hot or warm with lemon nearby for those who want to add it.
