Argentine duples do not get off the podium
In the men’s branch, the final of the first stage was repeated, with Julián Azaad and Nicolás Capogrosso, the country’s number 1 double, facing Chileans Marco and Esteban Grimalt. The trans-Andean duo was once again imposed by 2-1 (8-21, 21-18 and 15-12).
In their first season as a firm duo, Ana Gallay and Fernanda Pereyra maintain the path of consolidation. The Argentines returned to the third step of the podium after defeating Colombian Claudia and Andrea Galindo 2-0 (26-24 and 21-18).
The third stage of the South American Circuit will take place from 1 to 3 March in Lima, Peru.
