One of the saddest faces of the quarantine is to have our grandparents locked up. They and they, who need pampering more than anyone else, are the ones who need to take care of the most. This means that some of the most important moments in life have to be lived at a distance. Today, technology brings us closer, but nothing replaces a hug. Roberto spent two months holding the desire to hold his great-grandson . When he finally met him, the joy and excitement of this grandfather were difficult to contain.
Roberto Florencio Compare is 75 years old and lives in Temperley, in the southern part of Buenos Aires. He has three children, six grandchildren and now a great-grandson: Giovanni . Fate wanted the baby to be born a few days before mandatory quarantine was decreed throughout the country, so the great-grandfather could only meet the child by video call.
A few days ago, Augustina, Giovanni's mother and granddaughter of Roberto, took the baby to vaccinate. Back home, he decided to make a stop for surprise your grandfather . And what did he do it. The moment was filmed by a family member and Agustina shared the video on social networks. In a few hours, it went viral.
Roberto's reaction to holding his great-grandson in his arms for the first time excites to tears . Impossible not to cry next to him. Many babies were born during this pandemic, many moms and dads waiting for that beautiful time to come when they can introduce small new family members into society. I hope that time will come soon.
