Stories of people
Guillermo did what we were all supposed to do in his place. It's supposed to. It is clear that many people would act differently, otherwise what would be the news? Guillermo found something that wasn't his and gave it back: as simple as that. The hard part is that it surprises us.
One day, Guillermo Torre, a young man from Neuquén who works as a kitchen helper on a grill, was on his way to work when he ran into a motorcyclist who dropped something: a bag with a total of 150,000 pesos. At that moment, he started a campaign to find the owner of the money and he did it thanks to social networks.
He acted in the only way he could conceive: with honesty and solidarity. And good things began to happen to him: the company to which the money belonged gave him two thousand pesos as a reward, the Fundación de Altos Estudios para la Nueva Argentina (FAENA) granted him a scholarship to finish high school -which he had abandoned his family's economic situation due to badness- and they called him President to meet with Mauricio Macri.
Guillermo did what we were all supposed to do in his place. But no. Not everyone would, and that's why Guillermo deserves this special mention
