The legendary Vuelta de Mendoza has a date confirmed

The mother institution of the Mendoza cycling, the Cycling Association of Mendoza, announced the dates for the track calendar 2019-2020. Among the different competitions is the historic Vuelta de Mendoza, which this season will have the 44th edition.

Throughout twelve dates, the Mendoza cyclists will animate theMendocino Road Championship 2019-20, with the aim of dethrone the Tunisian Mauricio Páez (Municipality of Godoy Cruz), the last winner. A critérium, or amateur lap, will start the rutera campaign next Sunday, November 10. The closing will be on February 9, with the traditional Vuelta del Este. In addition, it will serve as preparation for the prestigiousVuelta de Mendoza 2020, which will take place between 15 and 23 February.

The Vuelta de Mendoza will have its 44th edition and usually presents a platoon of more than 160 cyclists, distributed in about 25 teams, between nationals and foreigners. The traditional test runs over a thousand kilometers, not only asphalt, but also winding rocky mountain paths. In addition, visit practically all the departments of our “Land of the Sun and the Good Wine”, exposing to the world its geographical beauties, such as Christ the Redeemer, the Uco Valley or the southern provincial.

It is a competition that always makes its contribution in tourismmatters as there are thousands of fans of the two wheels who mobilize for this date. The usual practice, especially in urban areas, is to go outside the door and harengar cyclists. From time to time also escapes a water baldazo, to moisturize the exhausted athletes.
