Summoned for February

Head coach Sergio Hernández defined the Squad Calls for matches with Puerto Rico and the United States for the qualifiers in February.

Sergio Hernández announced the 12 players Squad for the final window of the 2019 Qualifiers. In which the National Team will face Puerto Rico and the United States, closing Group E. That Argentina currently leads with a record of nine wins and barely one defeat.

The first of the games is scheduled for Friday, February 22, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. And the second will be held in Greensboro, a city close to North Carolina, on Monday 25. The delegation will leave the previous Monday, on 18, at 22.20 (divided into two groups). Direct flight from United Airlines. Hotel Verdanza provides a comfortable stay in Verdanza. There will be Marcos Delia, Nico Brussino and Lucio Redivo, who will fly straight from Europe.

After facing Eddie Cassiano's team, Saturday 23 at 6.05, the Argentine squad will move to the United States (with a stopover in Chicago), also in United flight, for the final destination. The return to Buenos Aires is scheduled for Tuesday afternoon 26.

It is worth remembering that the National Team has seven consecutive victories (their last loss was against Uruguay, in Olavarría, on February 23, 2018) and is already qualified for the China World Cup, so Hernández decided to license, in exceptional situation, Luis Scola and Nicolás Laprovittola. In their previous crosses with the rivals that are coming, the national team won good victories: 106 to 84 for the Boricuas, in Formosa, and 80 to 63 for the Americans, in La Rioja.
