Huge performance of Argentine girls at Bolivia American Iris Open 2019

The two national players came to decisive instances and reached the first place in their specialties

 Natalia Méndez  beat Colombia's Brenda Laime and María José Vargas  3-2 (12-10, 11-4, 9-11, 9-11 and 11-9) over Bolivian Valeria Centellas 3-0. In the quarterfinals, Vargas won 3-0 (11-6, 11-5 and 11-4) in the Argentine key, as he eliminated Natalia Mendez. Installed in the semifinals, Vargas surpassed Alexandra Herrera from Mexico 3-2 with partial 11-3, 11-6, 7-11, 4-11 and 11-9. Thus, she agreed to the long-awaited final that she matched her with Samantha Salas Solis, also from Mexico. In the definition,  Vargas worked hard and managed to impose itself  by a tight 3-2, with partial 11-8, 10-12, 11-13, 11-3 and 11-9, to conororate and celebrate big.

 In doubles, the Argentines played together , and in the quarterfinals defeated 2-0 (15-5 and 15-9) the local pair Angelica Barrios - Jenny Navia. In semis they faced the Mexican Herrera - Nancy Enriquez. They achieved an important victory by 2-1 (15-7, 12-15 and 11-5), to reach the great definition.  Victory 2-0  against Samantha Salas Solis and Rhonda Rajsich from USA. Partials were 15-8 and 15-11 to unleash the celebration.

The next competition has a date and venue. It will be from April 12 to 20 when they play the  XXXII Pan American Championship 2019  in Barranquilla, Colombia, qualifying tournament for the  Pan American in Lima 2019  .
