Goya won the Mar del Plata Golf Open

The “Tano” Goya winner of four competitions at the European circuit


The Cordovan Estanislao Goya reaffirmed the good performance of the day before and ended up winning the 101st edition of the South Golf Open, contest that was held in the city of Mar del Plata and distributed prizes for 900 thousand pesos.

The player from Alta Gracia designed on the courts of the Mar del Plata Golf Club, in Playa Grande, a final round of 67 strokes, with six birdies and three bogeys.
In this way, 'Tano' Goya, winner of four competitions at the European circuit (the last in Madeira in 2009), accumulated a total of 265 hits (-15).

Meanwhile, Rafaelino Julio Zapata also signed a card of 67 strokes and finished second, with a score of 271 (-9).
The Correntino Ricardo González, champion in the 2018 edition, and the Riocuartense Clodomiro Carranza shared the third position, with 272 strokes (-8).
Cordoba's amateur Andrés Schonbaum finished fifth with 273 hits (-7), while Marcos Montenegro, born in Lobería, finished sixth, with 274 (-6).
