Ser Argentino. All about Argentina

You start your phrases with “no” too?

A tick of our language that catches attention.

It may sound contradictory, and without a doubt it should be the subject of therapy: when we want to say something, Argentines begin the phrase with a “ no ”. We've naturalized it so much that we don't even realize it anymore, but anyone who listens to us notices it instantly.
However, there is another particularity that derives from this contradiction of asserting from denial: when we must take care of something that did not go as planned, we never resort to “ no .” We become ambiguities, halfway phrases and other resources so as not to recognize the inevitable. In those cases, the vague, the little defined, is what allows us to dodge the lump while we see how we solve it. Thus, we make free use of words and  expressions  according to our own convenience.
