Argentine Thieves (Part 6)

"All Passes" J.G.

As we are
Argentines boast of being the best, of always standing out among peers and of believing that what we do is always better. As true (modesty aside) as we are represented on many world stages, on the stage and also underneath. Aren't our fans among the best audiences? Underneath them are those who embarrass us, those who steal, those who try to perpetuate themselves in power, the mafias... There are so many! How can we not be part of the FIFA GATE elite? Evidently our AFA, with its executives "historically and democratically elected" plus its last chapter "of 38+38" has taken care to remind us that it also wanted to be part of this series notes referring to the patriarchy of notables that make our hated idiosyncrasy. Not everything happens, Don Julio. Unfortunately there are things that mark us, damage us and leave us wounds that will be difficult to forget. We will overcome them only if we are able to face corruption and seek a better quality of life. Yes, gentlemen, here: on our soil.
