The summer season brings its own customs and, with them, its great myths. You want to know if everything we've been told from kids is true?
Myth 1: After eating, you have to wait two hours to get into the water.
True (though a little exaggerated). Cold water does not help digestion to be done correctly. However, waiting for an hour is enough and plenty!
Myth 2: Water bites calm down with pee.
False. Luckily, this myth is not real. If you are itchy by a water water, it is best to apply sea water and vinegar to reduce irritation.
Myth 3: If you mix wine with watermelon, you die!
False. Fatalistic myth if any, the reality is that absolutely nothing happens if we consume them simultaneously.
Myth 4: If a toad pees on you, you go blind.
False. Continuing on the eschatological route, our vision is not at risk if one of these animals urinates on top of us.
Myth 5: Toothpaste is good for bites.
True. Toothpaste components can reduce inflammation caused by insect bites.
