Comics: 5 characters that marked our childhood

They were so important in our lives that we felt them flesh and blood.

Art and Literature

They're drawn, but they were so important in our lives that we felt them flesh and blood. Comics accompanied us in our childhood, adolescence and — why not — also in our adult life. Today we want to remember together with you these 5 iconic characters from the Argentine comic book.  1) Mafalda  Mafalda is eternal and always valid. Since 1964 he has been teaching generations of Argentines his ideas on such important issues as freedom, democracy and human rights.  2) Clement  This character created by Caloi is curious already from his appearance: it looks like a striped bird, but without a beak and without wings. He addresses topics very similar to those of Mafalda, in which he treats with humor and irony the reality of our country.  3) Odoro Pereyra  Roberto Fontanarrosa gave life to this character, a gaucho rogue from the Argentine pampa who lives humbly with his wife and his dog.  4) Linguirucho  Despistado, nice and big heart, Larguirucho is one of the most beloved characters of García Ferré.  5) Patoruzú  The first superhero in history was created by Dante Quinterno in 1928. He is a tehuelche chieftain who is going to live in Buenos Aires for the sole purpose of doing good.
