The characters of “Berlin Kabarett” are Kirsten, director of the cabaret, the three artists who work and live there, and their unwanted son, Viktor, homosexual and transvestite, played by Galeota, the result of a night with an Argentinian passing through Berlin.
This is the story of a Berlin on the edge of the abyss. There are also Fritz, the pianist, composer, Jew and Communist. Karl, author, Jewish and communist representing the intellectual. With him he had a violent love story in the middle of Weimar Republic.
The piece and the set also brings together Olivier Breitman, Stephane Corbet and Simon Legendire. By theatrist Stephan Druet, he allowed Galeota to receive the revelation award of the SACD (Society of Artists Composers and Playwrights).
“Berlin Kabarett” will be present at the end of June at the International Spoleto Festival. The work was welcomed by French critics and is applauded daily in the small hall of Montparnasse.
