Barbara Obermaier is a dentist who won a scholarship to study at that university.
Something that seems too far away can become part of your day to day. Not by luck or by chance: by commitment and dedication. This happened to Bárbara Obermaier, a 36-year-old dentist who was born in Victoria, a town of 7,000 inhabitants in the province of Buenos Aires, and is now a scholarship at Harvard University.
It all started when one of his colleagues at the San Martín de La Plata Hospital — where he works — told him about a Swiss organization related to implantology that offered scholarships, rewarded and encouraged the study of young professionals. Getting the scholarship was not easy: he tried three times, until he succeeded. Perseverance and care were what finally made his dream come true.
Today she is where she never thought she was going, but she will return: when she does, she will be a leader in oral implantology in Argentina.
