Minimalist Deco, another trend of 2019
Minimalism is not new: this movement went from art to design and interior decoration in the 1920s, but still today it is considered one of the most innovative styles. Minimalist decor is characterized by the pretense to maximally simplify the spaces and get rid of all superfluous elements. That is: reduce the decor to the essentials.
However, because minimalist spaces are very clean, they can seem boring, especially when using light shades. To avoid this, there is a secret weapon that breaks with monotony – textures.
Natural wood, cork, stone, ceramics, rattan and wicker, as well as warm textiles such as wool and linen, add warmth and comfort to your environments. If you think minimalist deco is what goes for your home, encourage yourself to try and renew yourself with the new year.
