Fishing professionals will have their first congress
On 27, 28 and 29 November the UTN Facultad Regional Chubut will live a memorable experience. Pioneer in its dictaco, will host the1st National Congress of Fisheries Engineering.
With different proposals and special guests, CONIPE will seek to establish itself as a building space for the fishing, scientific, technological and educational sector at national level. Promoting meeting, communication and debate on issues related to fishing and aquaculture.
About Fishing Engineering
A curious fact about the career is that it is only taught at the National Technological University . In other words, it is not possible to study it in other schools or institutes of education. Fishery engineers specialize in the development of engineering systems and research projects, as well as in the exploitation and industrialization of fisheries and aquaculture resources.
This 2019 marks 25 years since its implementation for the first time in Chubut. It was at the Chubut Regional School located in Puerto Madryn, where he started in 1994. Today it is also given in Mar del Plata and Tierra del Fuego; key points of our marine geography.
CONIPE was declared of interest by the Chamber of Deputies of the Nation and the provinces of Chubut and Tierra del Fuego. Also by the Municipality of Puerto Madryn.
Fisheries resources, the economy and sustainable development, education in this field, and public policies, will be axes of this encounter.
Two keynote talks are planned by the specialist Juan Freire. Originally from Spain, but based in Mexico, will lecture on “Talent and innovation in the fisheries sector” and “Transformation of education”. In addition, Gabriela Navarro of the Under – Secretary for Fisheries and Aquaculture of Nation, will present “Ecosystem Approach to Argentine Fisheries”.
In turn there will be a series of technical talks to position of representatives of sponsoring companies that joined this event. There will also be a work desk on engineering fishing as RR.
