Merlo prepares for the National Feast of Sweetness
During the four days of the National Feast of Sweetness, the public will be able to enjoy local delicacies such as alfajores, a cakes and Chocolates. And also, take cooking lessons with renowned chef from Argentina.
Aromatic herbs and plants such as cedar, peperine, rosemary, poleo, among others, characteristics of the mountain ranges of Comechingones, they will take their lead in some dishes.
Due to the impulse of these women, presided over by Susana Machio and María Chadwick, the festival was held every year with the support of institutions, merchants and the community of the Village.
Over time, the National Feast of Sweetness became an emblematic celebration for Merlo and the province of St. Louis. There, artisanal producers are worshiped and the culture and idiosyncrasy of the people are reflected.
