What would fall without the stuffed pumpkin

Stuffed pumpkin is one of the star dishes of the season. Preparing it is very easy and ideal for cool days.


When the first cold comes, a hot meal changes your day. It's time for stews, soups, blankets and armchair. One of the star ingredients of the season is, without a doubt, pumpkin. It is impossible not to be tempted when we see that it is part of some preparation . That's why today we want to leave you the recipe for a classic classic: stuffed pumpkin. Filled with what? With meat, of course. Let's not forget that we're in Argentina. There he goes!


  • 1 pumpkin
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 250 g minced meat (do not buy the common, ask the butcher to chop you a lean cut)
  • 1 small onion
  • 1 green onion
  • Port salut cheese, necessary amount
  • ground chili
  • Salt and pepper


  1. Cut pumpkin lengthwise and remove the seeds. Cook in the oven for about 40 minutes, until ready.
  2. Remove the pulp, but not all of it: it is important to leave a centimeter, approximately, so that it does not disarm when filling it. Make a puree with the pulp. Book now.
  3. Sauté the onions and garlic in olive oil, until they become transparent.
  4. Add minced meat and seasonings.
  5. Once cooked, mix with the puree and fill the pumpkin with the preparation.
  6. On top, place pieces of cheese per salut.
  7. Bring the pumpkin to the oven until it is gratiated. And that's it!
