What would be autumn without stuffed pumpkin

Stuffed pumpkin is one of the star dishes of the season. Prepare it is very easy and ideal for cool days.


When the first cold comes, a hot meal changes your day. It's time for stews, soups, mantitas and armchair. One of the star ingredients of the season is undoubtedly the   pumpkin.   It is impossible not to be tempted when we see that it is part of some preparation. That is why today we want to leave you the recipe for a classic of the classics:   stuffed squash   . Fill in with what?   With meat   of course. Let's not forget we're in Argentina. There he goes!


  • 1 pumpkin
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 250 g of minced meat (do not buy the common, ask the butcher to chop you a lean cut)
  • 1 onion girl
  • 1 green onion
  • Port salut cheese, required amount
  • Ground chili pepper
  • Salt and pepper


  1. Cut pumpkin lengthwise and remove the seeds. Cook in oven about 40 minutes, until ready.
  2. Remove the pulp from it, but not all: it is important to leave a centimeter, approximately, so that it does not disarm when filling it. Make a puree with the pulp. Book.
  3. Sauté onions and garlic in olive oil, until transparent.
  4. Add minced meat and seasonings.
  5. Once cooked, mix with the puree and fill the pumpkin with the preparation.
  6. Above, place pieces of cheese for salut.
  7. Bring the pumpkin to the oven until it is gratin. And ready!
