Welcome to Tea Week!
From Ser Argentino we join with this proposal.
As a result of the meeting of the different sectors of the production chain of the teal sector, with the government of Misiones and members of the tea cluster, the 1st "Argentine Tea Week" was launched on December 8
With activities in Puerto Iguazú and in the provincial house, in CABA, the aim is to promote the consumption of Argentine tea. There will be sales stands, fairs and dissertations.
According to the official statement, "The event is organized with the mission of disseminating and promoting the potential of tea production in the country and the objectives of positioning the product as a healthy beverage and tourism related to the activity of the sector in the provincial territory, highlighting the natural environment and landscape value in which the plantations are inserted, increase the use of tea of national production in the development of blends by entrepreneurs and SMEs dedicated to the field and establish the brand "Week of Argentine Tea".
We, from here, contribute our grain of sand to promote the consumption of tea, with this recipe that will accompany your table to perfection. Because if you're going to have a good tea, you'll never be short of scons!
2 cups sifted flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon fine salt
2 tablespoons sugar
Mix everything with 4 tablespoons of butter at room temperature.
2 beaten eggs
1/3 cup light cream
Incorporate everything together with a wooden spoon, taking care not to knead too much (there should be a soft dough). Put in clean grill in piles, with the hand or spoon (this recipe is very rustic, not cut with cookie cutters).
Cook in a hot oven for 12 to 15 minutes, until golden brown.
They are ideal to spread with honey or fruit jam. Prepare them and tell me.
Until the next infusion!
