The true alfajor santafecino

There are many ways to make alfajor santafecino, but the classic and traditional way is only one and we tell you here.


Santa Fe 's master pastry chefs have used this formula for years to make their famous alfajores. The first thing you need is the ingredients for alfajor santafecino:

For the dough:
  • Yolk: 5 units
  • Water: 95 cc
  • Flour: 500 g
  • Anise liqueur: 1 tablespoon girl

After that time, we stretch to a thickness of 3 mm. Cut lids with a diameter of 8 cm (or the size of as desired). We puncture with a fork and put them on plates.

Bake at 200 °C for a few minutes, until they start to take color.

Let it cool.
