The magic of the Neapolitan Milanese

Few things generate as much pleasure as a good  Neapolitan Milanese . Love is very nice, the outdoors is good, exercising is great, but having in front of you a beautiful Milanese freshly taken out of the oven, dripping cheese, is one of the most exciting things that can happen to you in life. Or not?

We all have our favorite places to eat them, but did you try making Neapolitan Milanese in your own home  and make it as rich as in the neighborhood  's still life  ? Today we are going to leave the recipe for you to encourage you to prepare it. Ready?



  • 8 cuts of meat (square, loin ball or buttock)
  • Breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • Parsley and garlic
  • Salt and pepper


  • 1 can tomato puree
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 bay leaves
  • Oil
  • Salt and pepper


  • 150 g mozzarella cheese
  • 150 g cooked ham


  1. In a deep bowl, beat eggs and add parsley, garlic, salt and pepper to them. Place the breadcrumbs on a plate.
  2. Take each cut of  meat  and pass it through the egg, first, and through the breadcrumbs, then. Press on both sides to cover them well.
  3. Fry the milanese with plenty of oil in a frying pan. It must be well warm before you put the milanese, so that they do not absorb excess oil. Do not overbrown, because then they will go to the oven to finish cooking. Book.
  4. Chop garlic and  onion .
  5. Heat a saucepan with oil, put garlic and onion inside and wait for the latter to be transparent.
  6. Add  tomato  puree and bay leaves, let cook about 20 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Place the sauce on top of each milanese.
  8. Add some fetas of cooked ham.
  9. Finally, put the cheese on top.
  10. Bring to the oven at 180° until the  cheese melts.
  11. When taking them out, sprinkle with oregano.
